RNLC Outcomes

Results are critical if the kinds of deep, sustainable changes are to take hold. RNLC realizes that some goals are clearly quantitatively measurable; but many outcomes, some of the most important ones, are qualitative and defy clear numerical representation. Nevertheless, RNLC applies measurable outcomes where these are clear and meaningful to the stakeholders. Non-quantitative outcomes will be assessed using tools such as surveys and observable before and after assessments.

RNLC will work to produce community results that demonstrate committment on the part of the residence to their community. This includes the reuniting of children of all ages to a vested interest and contribution to their community.

RNLC will assess our economic leakage and establish clear targets to reduce that leakage whereby imports exceed exports and transactions allude the local economy. Taxation is part of this initiative and will play a significant role in measuring a stable and sustainable economy which is resilent in times of global market shifts.

RNLC will work with New London Local First to achieve measurable market share shifts from non-local businesses to locally owned businesses.

Living wage jobs as these relate to a sustain food system and reduction of energy utilization will be key to a thriving sustainable New London.

Each initiative and project will all have a set of deliverables and measurable success factors guiding them through to implementation.
